Material and cleaning
The housing of the meat grinder and the loading tablett are made of aluminum (not stainless steel!) and should only be hand washed with warm soapy water. The plastic sausage feeder and pusher, as well as the cleaning brush, are dishwasher-safe. Please only clean the grinding discs and the stainless steel knife by hand with warm soapy water or with the cleaning brush that is included in the scope of delivery of the metal meat grinder. Danger! When cleaning your product, please always observe the enclosed instructions for use, because the manufacturer KitchenAid does not give grounds for a complaint if the meat grinder has been cleaned in the dishwasher! In the manual there is an illustration showing which parts can be cleaned and how if you are unsure. Note: Please note that the blender attachment is not compatible with the metal meat grinder!
