Material and cleaning

The Flexible Flat Stirrer is made of aluminium and has a non-stick coating. The lip is made of silicone and the Flexi Flat Stirrer is dishwasher safe and can be cleaned in the upper basket of the dishwasher.

Know - How Application Tips

When the bowl is empty and you run the Flexi stirrer in it, it will squeak. This is comparable to a windscreen wiper on a dry car windscreen. Therefore, it is best not to use the Flexi stirrer when it is idling and only up to speed level 6.
The flexible flat beater is not suitable for heavy kneading doughs, but only for normal mixtures, such as cake doughs, mashed potatoes, icing, buttercream, etc.
