The innovative ScanSnap SV600 is a unique overhead scanner that digitally captures newspapers, bound documents, loose papers, books and magazines without contact - without you having to cut them first and without damaging them. It scans anything from the size of a business card up to A3 landscape format. So maps, historical documents and blueprints can be digitised directly. The finger retouching feature allows the user to capture the document in a good scanning position without having to worry about visible fingers on the scan later.

Non-contact scanning means that even bound documents or documents up to a certain thickness can be easily digitised. The SV600 can conveniently capture information from books and magazines - even documents with sticky notes.

What's more, because scanning takes place without contact with the document, there are no problems with delicate documents. You also no longer need to worry about staples or paper clips, or that chalk drawings or oil paintings, pencilled text or photographs could be damaged by contact with the scanner.

Advanced Versatile Imaging (VI) technology

The SV600 is equipped with an innovative moving scan head that ensures the entire document is scanned evenly in sharp focus. VI technology combines three innovations:

• Lens with large depth of field that ensures precise autofocus over the entire scan range
• CCD linear image sensor that ensures uniformly sharp images
• LED luminaire that guarantees uniform illumination of documents with high directivity regardless of external light influences

Short start-up time and fast scanning

Once switched on, the SV600 is immediately ready to scan and then takes just 3 seconds to scan an A3 document. The ScanSnap Quick menu then opens automatically, allowing you to quickly and easily transfer your scan to an application. Automatic multi-crop allows you to capture multiple documents of different sizes in one scan. Place a few business cards, receipts and photos in the scanning area and the SV600 digitises all documents and automatically crops them to fit. Scan directly to the cloud and have your digitised documents available anywhere, anytime. You can also easily share the scans with colleagues and integrate them into business processes.

Scan multiple pages without interruption thanks to page turn detection, which automatically detects when a page is turned. Alternatively, in timed mode, you can set the time when a scan should start after the scan button is pressed. In continuous scanning, you can set the time interval between scanning the first page and the next.

Book Image Correction automatically corrects distortions caused by the curvature of the pages of an open book. Users see a preview of the scanned images and can fine-tune.
