Fits the new KitchenAid Meat Grinder (5KSMFGA), this KitchenAid Blender 5KSMFVSP is an optional accessory for this new Plastic Meat Grinder 5KSMFGA.

That means:
You need this meat grinder to operate this blender attachment. Then you can puree cooked vegetables or fruit with this accessory. For example for delicious purees, healthy baby food and fruity jellies and jams. The solid parts of the food are ejected separately and separated from the mush. This means that fruit and vegetables do not have to be peeled or pitted before pureeing. Convenient!

Know-how application tips

In order to properly puree vegetables and fruit, there are a number of things to consider.

• Cut the ingredients into pieces to fit the hopper.
• Remove hard, thick peels (e.g. orange peel)
• Remove large pits or stones from your ingredients such as peaches or cherries
• Remove stalks that can impede the running of the grinding auger, e.g. with strawberries or currants
• Cook hard or firm fruits and vegetables before straining for better results.
• Important! No wild vines may be processed, as they will damage the food processor! Permitted are: Vinifera grapes (noble grapes) such as nutmeg and seedless grapes.

Material and cleaning

The blender attachment is made of plastic and apart from the grinding worm and the drive shaft, all parts in the upper basket of the dishwasher can be cleaned. If there are particularly stubborn residues in the conical strainer, use a bottle brush to clean them. As always, please refer to the instructions for use and read them before using and cleaning the parts.

Attention!
Please note that the blender attachment only fits the plastic meat grinder and NOT the metal meat grinder! In addition, the pureeing attachment is only compatible with the new plastic meat grinder and not with the old model with a square filling tray. If you are unsure, please ask us!
