It offers a variety of cooking options, including the MaxiSense Plus hobs. The cooking zones on this induction hob adapt perfectly to the sizes and shapes of most pots and pans. Just make sure that the markings are covered. The size and shape of the cookware used is automatically recognised, whether small or large, and immediately heated to the right temperature. The IKB64431XB offers four cooking zones that can be conveniently set using the Direct Control cooking zone control on the hob. OptiHeat Control, the residual heat indicator and the eco timer ensure optimised energy consumption. The Stop + GO function allows the cooking process to be interrupted briefly and the count-up timer shows exactly how long a dish has been cooking. Thanks to the electronic automatic cooking zones, the cooking zone switches to full power for a certain time when a cooking level with automatic boil-off is set and then automatically returns to the set cooking level. In terms of safety, the IKB64431XB offers a 3-stage residual heat indicator, a child safety lock, a locking function and a power-dependent automatic switch-off function.

Hob2Hood function Hob controls bonnet - With Hob2Hood, your kitchen always remains free of steam and food odours. As soon as you start cooking, the cooker bonnet activates itself and automatically sets the required power level. This means you always have your hands free to prepare your food.	Power function The power function reaches high temperatures extremely quickly and speeds up the cooking process. Provide additional intense heat in an instant and bring a litre of water to the boil in less than two minutes, for example.	Stop + Go function The phone rings, the children call - many unforeseen things happen when you're cooking. The Stop + Go button switches all cooking zones to "keep warm". Pressing the button again cancels the pause.	Timer function The cooking time for each cooking zone can be set quickly and easily using the integrated timer. The eco timer switches off the cooking zone before the end of the set cooking time and utilises the residual heat efficiently. The count-up timer also shows the operating time of each individual cooking zone.
