Large work image with impressive level of detail

With its 101.6 cm (40-inch) screen diagonal, the LG 40U990A-W offers a very generous workspace for professional applications. The 5120 x 2160 pixel resolution ensures a very sharp display, so text, graphics, and spreadsheets appear clear and easy to read. The ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio supports efficient multi-window work. Nano IPS technology ensures vibrant and precise color reproduction, while the wide 178-degree viewing angle offers flexible viewing options. With a brightness of 450 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 2000:1, the image remains balanced even in varying lighting conditions. Support for HDR10, DisplayHDR 600, and HDR Effect enhances the display of both bright and dark areas, resulting in an impressive picture that excels not only in everyday use but also with demanding visual content.

Smooth presentation for work and entertainment

The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, fluid visuals during movement, scrolling, and animations. A 5 ms response time supports crisp images even during fast-paced action. AMD FreeSync Premium is also integrated, contributing to seamless display of compatible content. With high color accuracy and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, content appears convincing and natural. Whether for creative work or multimedia applications, this monitor is designed for modern and versatile use.

Diverse connections and flexible ergonomics

The LG 40U990A-W offers numerous connectivity options for flexible integration into your work environment. These include two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, as well as audio jacks and a headphone output. Ethernet/LAN is also available, making the monitor particularly suitable for networked workstations.
